Akshay is the CEO and co-Founder of FinAccel and Kauffman Fellow, Class 18. Previously he co-founded Komli Media (2006-2014). Komli was APAC’s leading independent digital media and technology company. Komli pioneered Real Time Bidding (RTB) in Asia via ATOM, it’s proprietary platform and was/is the exclusive reseler for Facebook, Twitter and Zynga in various geographies across Asia. 300 employees, $70m+ venture capital raised to date. Multiple Red Herring awards. Parent company of PubMatic, spun-off in 2008 and RevX, spun off in 2015.
Akshay is also an ex- management consultant (Deloitte), economic analyst (United Nations), restaurateur (China), author and world traveler.
Uman is an IIT-IIM Strategy professional with engineering background and 5 years’ global experience at leading consulting firms. Before FinAccel, Uman served as an engagement manager in Financial services space at McKinsey; with expertise in Credit risk, service operations and large-scale transformation projects. He also spent 2 years as an Associate with clients across Financial services, Private equity, Auto Ancillaries and Pharmaceutical industry on wide range of mandates including Business process re-engineering, Marketing and sales, Due diligence, Business planning, Corporate strategy and Organization design.
Alie is a highly creative and self-motivated leader with 15 years experiences in consumer products who can always be trusted to come up with a new approach and strategy.
Before co-founding Finaccel Alie was Head of Application Development at Risto Mobile Solutions where he led and implemented RISTO’s technical vision and long term application strategy to enable the organization to meet business goals and objectives. He led multiple development teams, leading on the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and performance of applications and key internal and external stakeholders to deliver a shared vision and manage the image of the organization externally from a systems perspective. Previously he spent 7 years at Affle in Singapore and Indonesia as Product Manager. Among others he conducted R&D; on existing digital technologies across connected devices; PCs, tablets, mobiles, smart TV’s, while creating business relevant innovations for the Affle Group.
